 May 2011      Winton: A Tough Test for Bosch Rookie 

Jesse Fenech has made it through one of the tougher weekends of his short racing career. The Australian Formula Ford Championship rookie faced tough opposition as he took to the Winton Motor Raceway in his Bosch Batteries Spectrum 012.



 “We came here expecting a real challenge,” Jesse said. “Winton is our home track; but it’s also the home track for most of the field, so this is usually the most competitive round all season. A couple of tenths of a second means six or seven places in qualifying and it’s then quite difficult to overtake,” he explained.



Williamson Wins Clipsal Crown

 Borland Racing Developments' Tom Williamson has started his 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship in the best possible way, winning the opening round at the Clipsal 500 aboard his Spectrum 012.  Williamson drove a mistake free weekend, sealing the round win with 3rd in race one on Friday and an emphatic victory and the fastest lap in Saturday's 10 lap final.




21st March 2011 - Clipsal Podium for Bosch Rookie

 Bosch Batteries Spectrum driver Jesse Fenech has started his rookie Australian Formula Ford Championship campaign in stellar fashion, taking second place on the challenging Clipsal street circuit in Adelaide 17th - 19th March.  The Melbourne driver, who turned 18 just a week ago, showed maturity beyond his years to keep his composure in the frenetic racing.









16th March 2011 - Bosch Batteries Backs Fenech’s Fight

 Reigning Victorian Formula Ford Series Champion Jesse Fenech has received a boost to his 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship campaign, with Bosch Batteries confirming a deal to secure naming rights sponsorship of his Spectrum 012 racer.
