Borland Racing Developments congratulates Ryan Simpson and Daniel Reynolds on their sensational 2011 Clemenger International Freight Formula Vee Australian Series performances. Ryan and Daniel were the class of the field across the three rounds, between them winning nine of the eleven races. Highlighting just how competitive the racing has been, Daniel won five races to Ryan’s four, but Ryan took the Series win by virtue of his consistency in placing the Junior Racing Developments Sabre 02 on the podium eight times.

Spectrum Fastest in USA Debut

The Spectrum F1600 Formula F Chassis has ended its debut weekend in the F1600 Formula F Championship weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with pole position, the fastest qualifying and racing laps of the weekend and a pair of second place finishes for rookie Australian driver, Mitch Martin.

Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing ran the Spectrum chassis for Martin, who had only competed in three Formula Vee races prior to this weekend. Mitch began the first race in second and looked set to take the race win before getting caught out by oil on the track and losing the lead to the Quantum Racing Services Honda of Wyatt Gooden.
