Spectrum Borland Sabre

Synergy Motorsport’s Chaz Mostert has piloted his Factory Enterprises/DIY Pool Fencing backed Spectrum 012 to pole position for the opening round of the Genuine Ford Parts Australian Formula Ford Championship at the Albert park circuit. Earlier in the day, Chaz topped the timesheet in practise, lowering the existing practise lap record.

If topping both sessions in its competition debut was not sweet enough, all four 012 model Spectrums qualified in the top 10, with 16 year old rookie Ben Jurczak claiming 10th position in only his third CAMS racing event. The Formula Fords take to the Albert Park circuit for races on Saturday at 12.10 pm and Sunday at 12.15 pm, when the drivers will be looking to give the new Spectrum its first race wins.

Mygale’s Betrand Decoster was so impressed with the new Spectrum that he was later seen indulging his penchant for photography, capturing some happy snaps of the Synergy Motorsport Spectrums for the family album.
